“The tour guide was terrible. She didn’t speak loud enough to be heard. She told all of us to meet at a certain time so we could take a tram to the top of the mountain. We showed up at the time she told us. The entire group was gone. When we caught up she told me that she thought everyone was there so they went ahead. Really? The whole ride home she barely said anything even though it was a different route than the one we took there.”

We were lucky to have beautiful weather all the way until we got on the bus to head back to Lucerne (then it started raining). Pro tip for this tour: sit on the left side on the train- you can see more. We went in August and, yes, the trip was very hot- be prepared with a hand-fan and drink lots of water. If you are sensitive to cold weather- bring a jacket... we enjoyed the coldness after the excessive heat outside of the mountains. I loved this tour and would recommend it to…”
