Gabriel was our tour guide and he was very friendly and informative. He was descriptive and gave excellent recommendations on what to see and do in Annecy (and Geneva) and we were able to maximize our time there. As listed, it was a 45 minute drive, 45 minute guided tour, 2 hour self-tour, and 45 minute drive back. It was rainy and cloudy when we went, but it was still worth it. We were on a water taxi rather than a 30 person tour boat. There were several “pickups” along the way. It took approximately 50 minutes to get from Lugano to Marcote. Our guide seemed knowledgeable but did some of the tour in multiple languages. Not his fault but we lost interest.”
